In an effort to help local businesses obtain County contracts, the Immokalee Lighting and Beautification MSTU is dividing the maintenance contract into different components. The Immokalee Beautification MSTU manage the maintenance of all public area along Main Street (SR 29) and 1st Street (CR 846) within the limits of Immokalee Urban Area.

Immokalee Business Development Center (IBDC) is positioning itself to serve the entrepreneurs wishing to start a new business, and the existing small business owners in Immokalee.
IBDC is in the ZONE
Immokalee is State designated Rural Enterprise Zone. What does that mean? It means that businesses located in the ZONE are eligible for Jobs tax credits, corporate, sales and use tax credits. Being in the ZONE means you are eligible for sales tax refunds for business machinery, equipment and building materials. In the ZONE there are property tax credits and community contribution tax credit.
